Though the spectacular growth Brazil showed in the early and mid 2000s may have slowed of late, Latin America’s giant retains a raw economic potential that is almost unrivalled in the world. This is clearly evident in its mineral sector: the country remains underexplored and its resources underdeveloped, yet there is substantial geological promise.
